Dia de Los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos Get Creative when decorating this plan white plaster skull from Michaels. Here's how mine turned out! Happy Crafting. BEFORE AFTER I used white paint so it would pop against the black. I added glitter over some of the white paint so it would show/sparkle better. Add paper flowers on top for a traditional Dia de los Muertos crown.

Pumpkin Coconut Soup with Cream and Truffle Topping

I just love Halloween and getting into the spirit of all things Fall! Customs, decorations, and of course food and drinks! I was craving a little midwestern fall cozy soup when I discovered a variation of this online. I always like to put my own spin on things so I came up with this new and improved version! Enjoy. Pumpkin, Coconut Soup 1 1/2 olive oil 1 chopped onion 3 garlic cloves 4 cups organic canned pumpkin 2 1/2 cups veggie broth 1 1/2 cups of coconut milk 2 tbs agave 1 teaspoon truffle oil (for top) 1 teaspoon cinnamon dash of onion powder, garlic salt, white pepper, crushed red pepper, salt. Halloween Decor

Happy October where the whole month is filled with fun fall activities. Trips to the apple orchard, sipping cider and pumpkin picking. I love making my own decorations for the house to make it feel festive all month long. Check out the door decor I made on this Crafty Sunday.   What you'll need: 1. Summer Time

Summers finally here and we have some fun summer ideas/DIY projects that will spruce up any Summer Soiree. White Sparkling Sangria.  1 Full bottle of dry white wine- just get an inexpensive bottle at Wholefoods (the ones they have for 4.99 because its going to be mixed into the sangria there is no sense in using a good wine!)  1 Full Bottle of sparkling white or champagne  1 splash of guava nectar- don't over due it here... just a bit 4 Full strawberries One full peach or nectarine  Handfull of blueberries MINT- adds a beautiful freshness! optional- nice wide slices of grapefruit (so they are still circles) they look nice in a clear jar.  Fun striped straws are a great...
